Malta – The Ancient Home of The Goddess

The oldest, free standing temples in the world are found on the islands of Malta and Gozo. The oldest temple dates back to the early Neolithic Age ca. 3600 – 2500 BC and is on the island of Gozo while Borg in-Nadur in the south of the island of Malta, is thought to have been built in the last phase of the Temple Period, known more appropriately as The New Stone Age. There is a wealth of Temples on the islands and some have been proudly declared to be World Heritage Sites by UNESCO.

It is next to impossible to list every detail about the sites in this page and as such, we invite you to take a tour around our web site where you will find dedicated write ups specifically on each Temple dealt with in our site. View the Temples page for more specific detail and feel free to browse our on line shop, a shop dedicated to selling exclusive articles for this site.

And following our successful Spring Equinox Tour and the Autumn Equinox Tour of this year, we are proud to present to you, our programme for the year 2007. In short, join us on one of our planned tours. We will take care of you in every way and would love to see you back again one day.

Nearly 7000 years ago, the first settlers in Malta built the Temples and worshiped their Goddesses in the only way they knew how. So many years later, we are still enchanted to learn their habits and traditions and still feel the power of the places they used as places of worship. Our tours will take you on that same journey and allow you to feel the vibrant energy on the morning of the Equinoxes and Solstices at Mnajdra and Hagar Qim and the Divinity felt three levels below ground at the Hypogeum Holy of Holies.
